Digital Wedding Invitation · Folded by Hand

A Japanese wedding made of origami: washi paper with Japanese patterns that folds itself, in 3D. Your guests tap the red seal with your initials and the sheet folds into an envelope and then a heart.

How it feels

• The opening: the envelope opens and the letter folds into a heart amid a shower of paper confetti.
• As they scroll, the paper refolds into each section's figure: fan, cherry blossom, torii, lantern, kimono, koi…
• Moving the phone turns the figure and light runs along its folds.
• When they RSVP, guests get a paper boat with their name.
• At the end a little boat with a light sails down the river for every family.
